Community Garden Plots Available

Second Ward community residents given first priority

The community garden plots located within the City of Delaware’s Second Ward on Ross Street are available for residents to rent.

These plots located across from Woodward Elementary are part of a partnership between the Second Ward Community Initiative, the Delaware General Health District and the Delaware City Vineyard church. The goal is to give residents more available access to fresh vegetables and fruits.
Residents of the Second Ward have first priority of the plots until April 30. The plots are 10 feet by 10 feet and there is a $5 deposit required.
